Has seizures, currently on Phenobarbital twice daily.  Seizures had become more

daily.  Also needs surgery to have eyes partially closed, eyes protrude too profusely.
Habits
Loves to chase balls and play with the other pugs.

Bigglesworth is a sweetheart of a pug.  He came from a local kill shelter where he was considered
unadoptable to the general public due to his eye issues & seizures.   While our dear Trooper was the
inspiration to help more special needs pugs, Bigglesworth was the deciding factor that we could wait
no longer to open our rescue.

He has been with us for over a year now.  Sadly during that time his seizures have become more
severe, clustering and lasting longer.  He is on Phenobarbital twice daily and seems to be doing well
at this time with his current dosage.  We are keeping a close eye on him.

He has had quite a few eye issues in the few months since he's been with us and does see our local
Opthamologist on a regular basis.  Biggles does get optimune twice daily and seems to be on many
other eye med.s from time to time depending on what's happening with his eyes at that time.  He does
need to have surgery to partially close his eye due to increased risk of injury, his eyes protrude too
profusely.  Estimate for this surgery is approx. $800-$900.

We are not going to be putting Bigglesworth up for adoption due to the very difficult emotional time he
had adapting to his new environment originally.  It took approximately six months for Biggles to let his
guard down.  For the first few months he was here he would hide in corners & behind furniture.  Today
he is now flourishing, playing with the other pugs and all his toys.  His favorite pastime is to play fetch
with his balls or napping curled up in his favorite living room chair.  He also has a best buddy here, a
little female pug named Tululla.  The two have become inseparable.  Our little Bigglesworth is like a
new dog.  He seems so happy and comfortable now in his new life.
