Phoenix is a very sweet little senior citizen whose owner passed away. She is an extremely timid girl and prefers to attach herself to one individual. It took a little while but she has now made herself very comfortable and at home here. Phoenix loves to have a warm lap to curl up in. Miss Phoenix has an upcoming surgery for a severe eye injury. We are currently raising funds for this surgery. If you'd like to help out using paypal, please click on the paypal donation button above. Checks are also accepted made paypable to "SW PA Pugs" and mailed to SW PA Pugs, PO Box 185, Leechburg, PA 15656. UPDATE: Phoenix has had her surgery and is recovering nicely at this time. We are still raising funds to cover the cost of her surgery & vet bills. UPDATE: Phoenix's eye has healed & is doing well. Although we were able to save her eye, she does have limited sight. She is currently being treated for a ruptured cyst. UPDATE: Phoenix's first ruptured cyst has healed, but we've had to put her back on medical hold due to having another ruptured cyst. She is currently healing at this time. UPDATE: Due to a very generous donation, we are happy to report Phoenix's vet bill for her eye surgery is now paid in full!!! UPDATE: Phoenix has recently begun having an issue with one of her front legs, this is believed to be nuerologic. She is adapting well, just needs a little extra TLC right now. |
